Psychic Readings at the Castle
Can you learn what the future holds by shuffling a deck of cards? Is it possible to receive messages from those who have passed over to the other side? What would our pets say if they were suddenly able to speak? Find the answers to these questions and more during an afternoon of Psychic Readings at the Castle. If you've always wanted to have a reading, but weren't sure how to go about it, this is your chance to explore the ancient art of divination in comfortable and familiar surroundings.
Our next afternoon of Psychic Readings at the Castle will be held Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 1pm - 5pm. Thanks for your support of this program and our talented local readers!
A Victorian Celebration of Death

R.I.P.
The Castle's 2013 Victorian Funeral Tours offer visitors an intimate, interactive experience. Small groups will step into the past as they tour the gothic mansion, which will contain a coffin and be decorated in the somber colors of full mourning. Costumed guides will describe different aspects of Victorian funeral and mourning customs including superstitions; etiquette; common causes of death during the 19th century; and the roles of undertakers, post-mortem photographers and other members of the "dismal trade." Before returning to modern time, visitors will eavesdrop on bereaved ladies as they consult a medium and attempt to commune with the spirits.
